For the most part, yes! All of the flowers in that are included in our Life in Bloom subscription program, market blooms,  specialty bouquets and small scale weddings are grown right here, at own flower farm. For some weddings and large events, we may supplement our blooms with flowers from other local growers (aka our Flower Friends), but we guarantee that all of the blooms are local - i.e. within a 100km radius of our farm. We think that there is something incredibly special about local flowers, which is why we use only local blooms. 

We love all kind of flowers, which is why you will find a beautifully curated selection of specialty cut flowers in our bouquets from early spring to late fall. Some of our favourite blooms are - specialty tulips and narcissus (all of the double, frilly kinds!), ranunculus and anemones, a small number of garden roses, lisianthus, as well as an abundance of dahlias. This year, we've also planted the loveliest selection of peonies, which we're looking forward to sharing with you in the years to come.  

For us, sustainability means working in tandem with nature and doing our best to minimize our ecological footprint. We never use pesticides or harmful chemicals on our flowers, we grow a selection of plants solely for the purpose of encouraging our pollinator friends to visit, we compost everything we can and use only sustainable mechanics for weddings and events (we don't use flower foam, which takes 50+ years to decompose in a landfill). We're always learning and growing, and each year we strive to improve and do a little bit more.

Since we're located in an area with very defined seasons (if only we didn't have those -30C days in the winter), we're able to offer our services during the growing season - which is typically mid-May through October. We don't import any flowers, which is why we can only provide blooms during the growing season and aren't able to guarantee specific varieties of blooms for our bouquets. That being said, we think you'll be both surprised and delighted at some of the lovely seasonal blooms that you'll find in our bouquets.
