The first step in the process is to fill out our inquiry form, where you're asked a few questions about your needs and the specifics of your day. From there, we’ll schedule a consultation, which is typically via Zoom or phone (we love Zoom, since it gives us a chance to share inspirations and chat face-to-face). The consultation gives us an opportunity to get a better feel for your vision and needs. 

After the consultation, we'll begin the booking and design process. I'll create a mood board and custom proposal that provides further details on design and pricing. From there the next step is to sign a contract to secure your event date; please note that a minimum 30% deposit (or $250 deposit for weddings under $1,000) is also required to secure your date. 

We'll continue to check in with you in the time leading up until your event and work out any revisions that may be required. Once our design is finalized, you can relax and let me take care of the rest. I'll see you on your special day and make your vision come to life! 

As we are a seasonal floral design studio, we only book weddings during the growing season - which is Mid May through the end of October. For full-service weddings (aka Bespoke Blooms), we recommend booking at least 6-12 months in advance, as we only take on a limited amount of these events each year. For intimate weddings, elopements or anyone seeking our A La Carte Blooms, these events can be booked in a shorter timeframe - typically 1 to 6 months in advance, depending on our schedule and availability. 

We would recommend that you book your florist as soon as you find one that feels like a good fit. Calendars can book up incredibly fast, especially during the peak season.

In short, yes. Changes can be made (major or minor) but any changes that result in a deduction of overall price, cannot fall below 90% of the contract total. Please note that all changes must be finalized three weeks prior to your event, this allows us to time to make final adjustments on our end. 

That's perfectly okay! We completely understand and that's what we're here for - to help bring your overarching vision to life. During our consultation we'll work with you to go through the process of figuring out what you like and why you like it - from there, we'll begin to weave the details of your vision together. Don't worry - there is no need to overthink it - we can start as simply as one image, one element or one idea and build on it from there. 

The short answer to this question is no - as a flower farm and seasonal design studio we offer only flowers that are grown locally and in bloom. That being said, if your favourite blooms align with what's in season then we're happy to fulfill your request. As an example, if you're wedding or event is in May then we unfortunately wouldn't be able to accommodate a request for white dahlias - but if you're wedding is in early September then we're more than happy to oblige. 

This is one of the things that we'll go over in more detail during your consultation so that there aren't any surprises (unless they're the good kind).

It’s no secret that cut flowers don’t thrive in direct sunlight or extreme heat. With that said, don’t worry - we've got you covered! Your flowers are kept in our floral cooler before your event, up until delivery and set up. We also make sure to do any installs/set-up that may be in direct sunlight as close to ceremony time as possible to minimize the amount of time that your flowers are exposed to sunlight/heat. We also ensure your flowers are properly hydrated with a water source.

We do our absolute best to keep your flowers fresh and beautiful, but if your wedding day truly is 30 degrees in full sun, let’s talk further about floral options!
